GET TO KNOW OUR RURAL TUNNEL RANGE
The Rural GROW Tunnel offers the perfect protected, closed-loop environment for growing either conventional and organic food, growing hydroponically, direct into the soil or raised garden beds, flower and fauna production, as well as microgreens and seed-raising endeavours.
The controlled environment of our GROWTunnels reduces crop losses to pests, wind borne diseases and pathogens, while also protecting from adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds, hail and intense sun. This is becoming increasingly important in a world where weather patterns are less predictable, making it harder for growers to plan their crops.

What Our CUSTOMERS HAVE TO Say About GROW Tunnels
Frequently Asked Questions
ABOUT the RURAL Grow Tunnel
-
Our customers utilise a variety of growing methods, including hydroponic, biodynamic, organic and conventional. The great thing is that inside your GROW Tunnel you can create the growing system that best suits your needs. All with the added benefit of being less susceptible to the unpredictable climate.
-
Just like greenhouses or other polytunnel variations, GROW Tunnels can get hot inside, especially in the summer months.
You can expect temperatures to be 5°C higher on average all year round. This can be beneficial for season extension; keeping summer crops growing longer and starting winter crops earlier. However, in some climates you will need to reduce the temperature in the tunnel, especially in the peak of Summer. This can be achieved by using fans, an internal shade net system and utilising the rolling up the sides of the tunnel, for extra ventilation.
-
Yes, our solarweave covers are impermeable, meaning no water can come through it. This means you can keep water off your crops and set your irrigation up to give them exactly the water they need at the time they need it. As our Rural GROW Tunnels come with gutters as a standard inclusion, you can capture the rainwater from the roof, to use for irrigation.
